Cooper & Gorfer are two artists with a great love for photography, a duo from two completely different backgrounds: Sarah Cooper is a classically trained photographer and Nina Gorfer studied architecture under Zaha Hadid. The starting point for their collaboration is a shared fascination with visual storytelling and narrative structures, resulting in a visual expression shaped by their respective backgrounds. Cooper & Gorfer's series spans Samiland in northern Scandinavia, to the Faroe Islands, Qatar, Kyrgyzstan and Argentina. They take us on a journey in experimental photography and through multifaceted stories about people and places from all over the world.
