Eye Alert Poster

This poster features an evocative design by Shepard Fairey, taken from the exhibition Photo Synthesis, which displayed at Fotografiska in the summer of 2024.

"The Eye Alert poster is my reaction to the healthcare reform in the USA. I am disappointed that the reform, instead of focusing on saving lives and improving well-being, succumbs to corporate-driven fear and misinformation. The healthcare industry is the largest in the USA, yet 30 million people—10 percent of the population—lack access to healthcare.

We know that something must be done about our broken (or nonexistent) system; otherwise, costs will continue to soar, and more people will be left without access to healthcare. It is a moral issue and a matter of human rights, but it seems that those who have stood up for it have been outvoted by corporations and their lobbyists. It is a sad day in America."
