Vanishing Traces Poster

Dutch photographer and artist Scarlett Hooft Graafland aims to capture the ever changing nature in our world when portraying meetings of different cultures. After weeks of prepping together with locals, she successfully conveys the meeting between her own fantasy, nature and the people who live in these often very faraway places. The result is an image of a short moment that passes by quickly, but makes an impact on the viewer that will last forever - leaving them with questions about the disappearing traces of our world.

The exhibition ‘Vanishing Traces’ included photos of big trees with women from the local tribe, fishermen in their boats, and women in burkas carrying balloons.
