Aristocracy Coasters, Set of 6

Drawn from David LaChapelle's series Aristocracy (2014), this colorful set of drinks coasters might start some pretty interesting conversations. In three delicately lit set pieces, the photographer shows a nimbus of swirling cloud entangling a group of private jets in perilous proximity of mid-air collision. The series reads as an exquisite color exercise recalling the tonal lightplay of great historic painters of the Renaissance and more modern eras. Six individual coasters illuminate various details from the original photographs.
