Employed by the government and holding a master’s degree in soil science, Mirza's true passion lies in capturing the beauty of the night sky. Known for his Instagram account (@daryavaseum), Mirza's astrophotography hobby has made him a prominent figure in a field that remains small in Iraq and neighboring countries.
In Fotografiska’s major winter exhibition in 2024, Space – A Visual Journey, artistic expression meets scientific discovery, featuring 13 internationally acclaimed photographers, each exploring space from their own unique perspectives.
Throughout time, humanity has gazed at the starry sky, seeking to understand what lies beyond. Space symbolizes our ability to push the boundaries of possibility, the curiosity to discover something new, and the courage to step into the unknown. At the same time, it raises timeless questions about who we are and where we belong within the vastness.
