Salt Pool, Phanta Firma Poster

There is certainly a measure of intrigue in this poster reproduction of Prue Stent and Honey Long's image, "Salt Pool", from the exhibition NUDE. What are we looking at and where is this? Light falls around a  figure cocooned in a saturated, clinging crystalline drape, reclining on a flesh colored bed of semi liquid, scaly layers, apparently part mermaid, part seeding pearl. Delicate, rich, and strange.
