Co-published in connection with the artist to accompany the Daniel Arsham Phases exhibition at Fotografiska New York in 2024, this sumptuous monograph is the first formal public presentation of 30 years of the artist's photography. Chosen from an extensive archive of over 200,000 photographs, the volume presents a personal selection of the multi-faceted artist's subjects and moods, from the studied and meditative, to the impromptu and enrapt. Spanning a period of three decades Arsham's investigations of material transformation and temporal translation are extensively represented in a selection that hones to a restrained use of color, and a brooding delight in the darker tones and reflections.
